This weekend in the Billings West High School's auditorium, the high school musical is, in fact, High School Musical.  Billings West High School's Drama Club, under the direction of Myra Nurre, brings this iconic movie - known to a generation - to the stage.

For the past two months, Billings West High students and a team of teachers have been working diligently to craft this story into a production you won't want to miss. Especially for those who have an appreciation for this movie, local talent, or local kids.

Troy Bolton (played by Ryan Zoanni) and Gabriella Montez (Kendall Barrie) learn there is more to who they are than being the "jock" and the "brainiac" when they decide to audition for the school's musical, much to the dismay of the reigning drama queen and king, Sharpay Evans (Brynn Barriger) and Ryan Evans (Brady Dannenberg).

The talent in this production runs the entire depth of the cast from the incredible singing talent (under the direction of David Green) to the house band (led by Jadyen Ostler).

Billings West High School's production of High School Musical continues its run through Saturday, April 27 with shows on Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm each night.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online here or at the door.

So, "Come on, get your head in the game!"
