Teacher Appreciation Gift: Summer Sun Beach Tote
The end of the school year is quickly approaching and it has me thinking about how endlessly grateful I am for those who teach my children! Theirs is a job I don’t envy and can honestly say I’m not equipped for. The patience, persistence, encouragement and joy for lifelong learning they are instilling in my kiddos are commendable.
As a child, I had a handful of teachers who impacted me so greatly I have carried their influence into adulthood! They may not know the way they have shaped my future but given the opportunity I will certainly let them know.
This is the perfect time of year to ponder the progress and growth we have seen in our kids' lives over the past 9+ months. A small act of thanks is appropriate and here is one idea for a fun teacher gift!
Putting together teacher's Summer Sun Beach Tote:
Supplies:
- Beach tote or picnic cooler
- Beach towel
- Sunscreen
- Lip Balm
- Acrylic Tumbler
- Fun reading material
- Flip Flops (I not so discreetly asked her shoe size)
- Nuts or snack mix
Color coordinate the items if you would like, for a super fun gift that’s sure to be a splash! There are numerous other things you could include in the tote such as, an adult coloring book and colored pencils, umbrella, beach ball, sunglasses or even a gift certificate to a waterpark! Use your imagination and knowledge of your child’s teacher to customize a gift they will love and use all summer long! Finish it off with a darling printable like the one I used from: www.skiptomylou.org/end-of-year-teacher-gift. You are set with a gift that will be used all summer long!
