Swing into Summer Block Party @ Billings Public Library | June 22 @ 11am-2pm

It’s officially summer and Billings Public Library is holding their annual Block Party to celebrate! Held in the Library’s parking lot (and throughout the building) this day of family fun is free and open to the public.

There will be a variety of hands-on activities, taking you out of this world: Museum of the Rockies’ StarLab is coming down; deck yourself out in costume for the sci-fi themed contest, then ham it up in front of the green screen, and build your own alien landscape. Expect balloons from Billings Best Balloons and face painting by Terri Porta, and Wise Wonders Children’s Museum, SCA, Barony of Bronzehelm, 4H, and HRDC will also be on hand, contributing to the fun. You can also do some rock painting, work with LEGO Robotics, and more! Then fill out your bookshelves for the summer with The Friends of Billings Public Library’s pop-up book sale. And if your tummy needs filling while you’re there, Snowie MT and Smoky Bones BBQ food trucks will be on site.
