Wading Pools and Spraygounds. Spraygrounds, 10am-8pm; Wading Pools, 12-6pm. There are two filtrated, chlorinated wading pools and five spraygrounds located within the Billings City Park System. All wading pools are free for children ages 8 and younger. Adult caregivers responsible for the supervision of their children at all times. Ben Steele Exhibit at Western Heritage Center: Prisoner of War: Ben Steele’s Personal Chronicle from Bataan to Hiroshima. May 16-Oct 5. Western Heritage Center, 2822 Montana Ave. Steele’s paintings depict his experiences as a P.O.W. in the Philippines and Japan during WWII. Ben Steele Exhibit at Western Heritage Center: The Friends of Ben Art Show: Celebrating the Influence of Ben Steele. Western Heritage Center, 2822 Montana Ave. June 7-Sept 21. In addition to being a prolific artist, Steele was also a beloved art teacher at Eastern Montana College, now MSU-Billings, and a lifelong friend to many MT artists. This exhibit shares works of those who knew Ben and reveals how they knew him and in what way he influenced them. Exhibit sponsored by Shirley Steele and Friends.
