RaeRae’s Bakery Depressed Cake Shop Pop Up @ RaeRae’s Bakery | Saturday, May 11, 2019 @ 11am-3pm

Since February, RaeRae’s Bakery (1505 Rehberg Lane) has been baking and selling SAD cookies to help raise money for the Out of the Darkness Yellowstone Valley Walk, which raises awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. But on May 11, this pop-up sale is taking on a larger scale, where many of the items sold will be in the Depressed Cake Shop theme and all sales of those items also support the Walk.

The goodies: Depressed Cake Shop-themed cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and a variety of amazing goodies baked in the theme – all Gluten Free.

The Depressed Cake Shop is a “global community that promotes self-care through the power of creativity and uses it to raise awareness and donation for mental health initiatives around world,” explains their website. They operate under the motto “Where there is cake there is hope, and there is always cake.”

All Depressed Cake Shop goodies have a touch of gray that represents the gray cloud that can overshadow the light when someone is struggling with mental health issues; you will also see beautiful pops of color that signify hope of recovery.
