National Poetry Month Celebration: Poetry Night @ Billings Public Library | Tuesday, April 30 @ 6:30pm
Take a deep dive into your creative spaces as Billings Pubic Library invites the community to partake in National Poetry Month. The poetry contest runs from March 18-April 12, and the winners (to be announced on April 23) will be invited to read their poem at the Poetry Night celebration on April 30. Winners will be selected for Children (ages 0-12), Youth (ages 13-19), and Adults (ages 20+) with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each group, thanks to a generous donation from The Friends of the Library. The celebration includes a guest speaker discussing poetry as an art form, and its significance, along with light refreshments.
