28th Annual Strawberry Festival @ Downtown Billings | June 8 @ 8am-4pm

Dive headfirst into summer with this beloved annual event. The Strawberry Festival, in its 28th year, gets things going with a pancake breakfast at 7:30pm, hosted by the Billings Heights Lions Club at the corner of 2nd Avenue North and North 29th Street.

Billings' largest street festival, the Strawberry Festival includes Arts & Craft vendor booths, food trucks, free kids crafts, a bungee jump, balloon twisters, and live entertainment all stretching under downtown's Skypoint sculpture at North Broadway and 2nd Avenue North.

The centerpiece to the event, the 60 foot Strawberry Shortcake, will once again be assembled onsite by the Chefs and Cooks of Montana (with help and donations from Albertsons, Passages, Sysco Montana, and Morningstar Senior Living). This year the shortcake will be set-up on 2nd Avenue North, just east of Skypoint between North 27th and Broadway. The community can enjoy a slice of the shortcake by purchasing a $2 ticket from the shortcake ticket booth as early as 10am. The shortcake will be served beginning at 12pm. Proceeds are split between the Chefs and Cooks of Montana’s scholarship program and the Business Improvement District's street beautification projects.

Kid's Area:

The Kid’s Area is sponsored by Wise Wonders Children's Museum, located on North 29th Street, just north of 1st Avenue North, and will include a pinwheel craft station, coloring opportunities, and a corn-hole bean bag toss. Montana Premier Entertainment will have a four-person bungee trampoline up and ready for anyone from 30lb to 220lbs to enjoy five fun minutes of gravity defying jumps for $5. Wise Wonders Children’s Museum will be open with free admission during the festival.
