ZooMontana offers German festivities for all with ZooToberfest

ZooMontana is busting out the lederhosen with ZooToberfest, offering family friendly Oktoberfest fun by day and a brewfest and concert for the over 21 crowd by night on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013.

Bring the family out from 10am-5pm on Sept. 21 for a taste of authentic German food, while experiencing German musical stylings, and exploring over 20 vendors and crafters. While you're exploring things, wander through the beautiful zoo grounds, taking in all of the updates and sprucing up that has taken place. You'll definitely want to take a trip over to the new and improved photo boards behind the barn (fun fact: a local teacher made them for the zoo).

Besides the animals and zoo grounds, the kids will have plenty to take part in, with obstacle courses, a pumpkin patch, face painting, and more while the adults sample seasonal brews and wine. There will also be barrel races and other contests throughout the day.

ZooToberfest activities for the adults will pick back up at 6pm with the aforementioned brewfest and concert, featuring three top Montana bands.

9pm-11pm      Ted Ness & the Rusty Nails

Admission Info:

Daytime admission is...

  • $7/adult
  • $4/child

Evening admission is...

  • $12 for general admission
  • $4 drink tickets or $35 for unlimited pours in a commemorative beer glass.
  • Daytime guests 21 and older are welcome to stay for the Brewfest and concert, subject to paid admission for the evening event.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate or in advance at ZooMontana, the Downtown Billing Alliance – located at 2815 2nd Avenue North, or MACK Productions, Inc. - 333 2nd Avenue North, #170.
