Teacher Gifts 101

I believe teachers always need gifts because they have the most difficult job on the planet.  These gifts are all perfect for the beginning of school – homemade, easy, inexpensive, and thoughtful.

Pencil Vase

I originally saw this idea on pinterest.com and then my friend Tiffany made one for her favorite teacher, her mom, and I knew I had to make some too!

I bought the bud vases and pencils at Target.

I just placed a small amount of hot glue on the metal part of the eraser.

And glued away, using about 21 to 22 pencils.

My son picked out the ribbon and I found these beautiful flowers at Costco.

I attached a simple Thank You note to each one.

Thank for Helping Me Grow

I like this gift idea because you can be super simple or extra crafty.  Giggles Galore was extra crafty and painted this cute flower pot.  If you wanted to keep things super simple, place flowers or a plant in a nice pot with the “Thanks for Watching Me Grow” card attached.

Foodie Gifts

If cooking is more of your forte, be sure and check out the fun and free labels from Brown Paper Packages.

This one was my favorite!  “This year is going to be sweet with you as my teacher!”

Paper Craft Gift

Who can’t use Post-It Notes?!  Paper Wings made these cute Post It Note holders that are as easy as 1-2-3.

Beverage Gift

I love the new Mocktails from Crystal Light and they would be perfect for these gifts.  I Heart to Stamp just filled the cup with Crystal Light and reusable ice cubes.

Whatever give you decide to give, I’m sure it will be much appreciated.  Be sure and share some of your favorite gifting ideas!
