Audubon Conservation Education Center Weekend Wonders - Learn to Fly-Fish (Sunday from 1:30-3pm)
It doesn't take long to realize that one of the many great past times at our fingertips here in Montana is fly-fishing. Drive through the country and you'll see fishing access areas on most of the rivers, fly shops nestled into towns large and small, and people of all shapes and sizes wandering the banks of rivers while arcing their rods back and forth.
Have you always wanted to learn how to fly-fish, but weren't sure where to start? Are you looking for a new hobby to share with you family outdoors this summer? Then, come down to the Audubon Conservation Education Center this Sunday from 1:30 - 3 PM for our monthly Weekend Wonders Family Program.
This month we'll learn about fly-fishing with the staff from Cabella's. You'll learn to tie flies, and have a chance to try the art of casting. Everyone will get a chance to practice and receive guidance from the experts.
This program is open to ages, though recommended for kids five years old or older. Pre-registration is required by calling 294 - 5099. Free for Friends of the Audubon Center or $2/person. We're located just minutes from downtown Billings on S. Billings Blvd, close to Riverfront Park.
