Billings, MT

NFL Atlanta Falcons and former University of Montana defensive end, Kroy Biermann returns home to eastern Montana this weekend to endorse Athletic Medicine and Performance (AMP).  AMP is supported by Ortho Montana, St. Vincent Healthcare and Yellowstone Surgery Center and offers sports medicine, education, outreach and performance training to the region.  Biermann attended an AMP Performance session in high school and wants to go on record for his strong belief in the program.

Biermann grew up in Harden, Mt and was recognized as a two time first team All-Big-Sky player and awarded the Big-Sky Defensive MVP and the Buck Buchanan award in 2007 for the top defensive player in the league while playing for the University of Montana Grizzlies.  Biermann was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2008 and is currently one of their starting defensive ends.

Athletes are invited to attend a free AMP performance training session which will be led by Biermann this Friday May 13 from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm located at Granite Health and Fitness near Grand avenue and Shiloh road.

A free autograph signing session will also be held at Rimrock Mall on Saturday from 1pm-3:30pm, all are welcome.  AMP will be providing free pictures of Kroy for autograph seekers.

Sports Illustrated has confirmed that they will be attending the events this weekend as they develop a story on Biermann’s rise to success in an upcoming article.
