2015 Easter Egg Hunts in Billings

Dig out those Easter baskets because the Easter Bunny is making appearances and leaving eggs a-plenty in his wake in and around Billings starting in March! Don’t forget the camera!

On the Hunt for Easter Eggs: 2015 Easter Egg Hunts

ExtravaganZOO

Location: ZooMontana, 2100 South Shiloh Road

Date: Saturday, March 21 @ 10am-1pm

Details: Head out to the ZooMontana for their annual egg hunting ExtravaganZOO! With egg hunts, animal encounters, activities and food it’s sure to be a morning of fun for the whole family. Three separate areas of egg hunting will get progressively more challenging. As an added bonus, the Easter Bunny will also be wandering around for photo ops!

Regular zoo admission fees apply.

Schedule: 11am, ages 1-4 | 11:15am, ages 5-8 | 11:30am, ages 9-12

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Laurel Health & Rehab Center, 820 3rd Avenue in Laurel

Date: Friday, April 3 @ 11am.

Details: Over 10,000 eggs will be scattered and ready for snagging at this free Easter Egg Hunt. There will be designated hunting areas for kiddos ages 1-3, 4-6, and 7-11. Prizes will be awarded in each division: 1st Place, $50 gift certificate, 2nd Place, $25 gift certificate, 3rd Place, Easter Basket.

Following the Easter Egg Hunt, kids can explore the petting zoo, take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and enjoy refreshments.

Scheels Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Scheels, 1121 Shiloh Crossing Blvd

Date: Saturday, April 4 @ 9-11am

Details: This free Easter Egg Hunt – for the 4-12 year old crowd – will include clues and activities throughout the store as the kiddos hunt for candy! Attendees are asked to meet at the Aquarium. All kiddos will also receive a free ride on the Scheels’ Ferris Wheel.

**All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Laurel Junior Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Thomson Park in Laurel, 1st Ave North & East 8th Street

Date: Saturday, April 4 @ 10am

Details: For ages 0-12, this Easter Egg Hunt will offer four hunts for ages grouped as following: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12. There is no cost and participants are asked to line up at the Picnic Shelter. This event is hosted by the Laurel Junior Jaycees, sponsored by the Laurel Jaycees.

The Laurel Junior Jaycees, established in November 2014, is a Youth Extension of the adult chapter for ages 7-17. It is designed for kids who have a passion to make a difference for their own peers by identifying problems in their schools and within the community. Laurel youth interested in learning more about the Jaycee Youth Program can contact Shawn Erhart, Chapter President, at 633-4331 or Youth Advisor, Daisy Henckel at 591-6969.

*MSU-Billings Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Peaks to Plains Park, 1500 University Drive

Date & Time: Saturday, April 4 @ 10:30am

Details: This Easter Egg Hunt is for kiddos ages 0-10. Different areas will be setup throughout the park for a variety of age groups. In conjunction with the hunt is a food drive, and families are invited to bring non-perishable food items for donation.

Easter Celebration Egg Hunt

Location: The Rock Church in Laurel, 820 W. 9th Street

Date: Saturday, April 4 @ 11am-1pm

Details: With 50,000 eggs prepared for this Easter Celebration Egg Hunt, it’s an afternoon for the whole family to enjoy! Age-appropriate hunts will be conducted, beginning with the youngest of the hunters. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photo ops, and games, inflatable bounce houses, and door prizes will only add to the fun. Enjoy free snow cones, cotton candy, and popcorn while you’re at it!

EKids! Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Lewis & Clark Middle School, 1315 Lewis Avenue

Date: Saturday, April 4 @ 11am-1pm

Details: This annual Easter Egg Hunt with 30,000 candy-filled eggs hosted by Emmanuel Baptist Church will include hunts for ages ranging from newborn to 6th graders! There will also be games, cotton candy, popcorn, hotdogs, and inflatable slides and jumpers – all for free.

* Faith E. Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Faith Evangelical Church, 3145 Sweet Water Drive

Date: Saturday, April 4 @ 11am

Details: With over 25,000 eggs, Faith E’s Easter Egg hunt is open to the public and will offer three hunting fields designated for ages 0-4, 5-7, and 8-10 with staggered start times. Some of the eggs will reveal special prizes inside, so bring out the kiddos and get ready to hunt!

12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Location: Tree of Life Wesleyan Church, 3608 Custer Avenue, Billings, MT

Date: Saturday, April 4 @ 11:30am, registration | 12pm, hunt

Details: This free Easter Egg Hunt is for ages up to 12 years old. The afternoon includes candy, hot dogs, and prize drawings for all ages. Prizes include games, Easter baskets, and bikes!

YMCA Aquat-Egg Party

Location: Billings YMCA, 402 North 32nd Street

Date & Time: Saturday, April 4 @ 1pm

Details: Take your Easter Egg hunting skills to water with the YMCA’s annual Aquat-Egg Party! This unique hunt is free and open to the community – though you are asked to register in advance. Registration opens March 15 online at www.billingsymca.org or you can come into the Y to register.

Families with small children will need a parent to get in the water with them. The festivities begin at 1pm, but the hunts will be divided in 3-4 groups by age. Each child will leave the hunt with a healthy prize!
