The beauty of a dream: Camelot Ranch

Family Roots

A long time ago, in a land not so far away, a girl had a dream. A dream to become a wedding planner, and build an event center on the Billings Rims for parties. Fast forward nearly 20 years (and a ton of work) later, and Steve and Lynn Tucker have brought this dream to life! In 2013, the family purchased Camelot Ranch. “The property reminded Steve of his upbringing on the family ranch, and Lynn simply fell in love with the country rustic charm of the property.”

The family first resided in a farmhouse that once sat where the 8,400 square foot barn now exists. Lynn says she felt the need for a venue in the Billings/Laurel area to accommodate large groups while representing the rustic Montana landscape.

Designer Details

While in the planning stages, the couple visited with several local professionals including caterers, event planners, and photographers to gather details and opinions for desirable features in an event venue. The expansive Great Room (accommodating 300 guests), sizeable full-service catering kitchen, unique indoor bar, lounge/dressing room, large public restroom facilities, covered patio, and loft/bridal suite are just a few of the distinctive features Camelot Ranch offers their guests.

An Inside Look

The versatile venue has been custom-built to function as an ideal event space for any gathering. Weddings, family reunions, company retreats, bridal showers, birthdays, anniversaries, fundraisers, and sports banquets just to name a few. The facility was also utilized for a proposal last December.

Lofty Dreams

Plenty of natural light, a balcony, and expansive space make the lounge/dressing room the perfect place for bridal parties to prepare for the festivities.

The massive mirror in the loft/bridal suite had to be assembled in the room and it serves as a perfect spot to photograph the bride-to-be.

Outdoor Opulence

The dock and pavilion area is a picturesque place with unparalleled views for any outdoor gathering.

The Tuckers have many plans for future expansion and additions to Camelot Ranch, including the construction of cabins for guests to rent while they are celebrating there.

They lived happily ever after...
