DIY Christmas Place Cards: Wreath Place Cards

We’ve entered the season of holiday parties and Christmas dinners, creating the perfect opportunity to add some sparkle to your tabletop décor! I decided it would be fun to keep it natural and of course, simple with these adorable little wreath place cards. I went out and trimmed some of my newly planted boxwood bushes and I’m so pleased with the result. Your guests are sure to love this personalized place setting!

DIY Wreath Place Cards

Supplies needed:

  • Fresh boxwood greens
  • Green floral wire
  • Glue gun
  • Cards for monograms
  • Metallic marker
  • Black and white bakers twine (or color of your choice)

Tools:

  • Clippers
  • Wire cutters

Directions:

Step one- Cut your wire and form it into a circle.

Step two- Glue boxwood greens around wire wreath form

Step three- Add a few more greens to sparse places and where the ends overlap

Step four- Tie a little bow to it with bakers twine.

Step five- Attach your monograms

You could use any kind of greenery that you have in your yard. Evergreens would be really beautiful as well. You could also hang several of these wreaths from ribbons to create a beautiful garland. Vary the sizes to add interest.  How about adding them to your gifts and using them as labels? There are so many fun ways to incorporate some real greenery into your home this season. Especially if you’re like me and don’t have a real tree. It’s these kinds of pretty, little touches that will really make your home shine this Holiday Season!
