Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and Riding Assisted Philosophy (RAP) are fields in which horses are used as a tool and a  partner for emotional growth and learning. They are experiential in nature and have been compared to the ropes courses, but with the advantage of using horses which are large and powerful.
