A Google A Day...Keeps the Boredom Away

If you are looking for a fun and educational boredom buster or rainy day activity for your teens, tweens...(or yourself)  check out Google's new puzzle / scavenger hunt game called, "A Google a Day".   Everyday they will post a difficult question on the site.  Then, players will need to use internet searching skills and tools to figure out the answer.

I just tried it with my own kids and we had  a great time trying to figure out questions like..."what's the molecular formula of the ingredient in dynamite that is made from the oil of a legume that’s often mistaken for a nut?"

Needless to say, it takes a bit of creative searching to come up with the answers but it really is fun (and educational to boot)!
